Sangini Cancer Society
“Sangini Cancer Society” was founded in February 2007 by a renowned pediatric anaesthetist Late Dr. Anupama Negi. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002, and during her cancer treatment journey, she discovered the psychological and emotional distress cancer patients go through. Determined to help those going through the same struggle as her and provide mutual emotional support, she established Sangini. In the period of less than 4 years, she successfully counselled hundreds of breast cancer patients. Her untiring and selfless service motivated the patients to fight the disease with a positive attitude. The overwhelming response of the patients motivated the expansion of its horizon in April 2008, as the “Sangini Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Center”.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection through education, and community outreach and provide emotional and psychological support to cancer patients, survivors and caregivers by counselling them.
Our Vision
Our vision at Sangini is to create a world where no one has to face cancer alone. We strive to provide holistic support to every individual affected by cancer, irrespective of their socio-economic status. We aim to empower patients, survivors, and caregivers with knowledge and support to enhance their quality of life and overall well-being. We envision a future where cancer is no longer a life-threatening disease, and everyone has access to timely and affordable cancer care. Join us in our mission to make this vision a reality.
