Celebrating Strength, Hope & Togetherness in loving memory of Dr. Anupama Negi

Sangini Cancer Care Society organized its much-awaited annual event “Sangini Ki Umang 2025” in loving memory of Dr. Anupama Negi. The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 80 Vijetas (breast cancer survivors), making it a truly memorable occasion.

The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Dr. Janak Palta McGilligan, Mrs. Aarohi Negi, Mrs. Rupika Sanyal, Dr. Seema Vijayvargiya, and Mrs Anuradha Saxena symbolizing light, hope, and healing.

The event was filled with enthusiasm, joy, and heartfelt participation throughout. Padmashree Dr. Janak Palta McGilligan shared the inspiring journey of Sangini Cancer Care Society, reflecting on its founding vision, milestones, and the continuous efforts made toward supporting breast cancer survivors. Mrs. Anuradha Saxena then presented the annual report, highlighting Sangini’s year-round awareness programs, survivor support initiatives, and community outreach.

The Doctors’ Panel, expertly conducted by Mrs. Chitra Shrivastava, featured eminent doctors sharing valuable insights. Dr. Prakash Chhajlani spoke about breast implant procedures and recent advancements in reconstruction surgery. Dr. Nancy Jain Garg emphasized the importance of early detection and regular screening, while Dr. Taha Sethjiwala discussed chemotherapy and modern treatment advancements, enriching the discussion with practical medical knowledge.

Adding a soulful dimension, Mrs. Anjana Saxena mesmerized everyone with her Kabir Wani performance, filling the hall with peace and spiritual energy.

Sangini’s volunteers presented a Heritage Walk, wearing sarees from different states of India — beautifully symbolizing “Anekta Mein Ekta.”

Dr. Suchita Khandelwal’s melodious rendition of “Aage Bhi Jaane Na Tu” and a heartfelt poem recited by Mrs. Usha Joshi added emotional depth to the celebration.

The event was gracefully anchored by Mrs. Rajmani Jain, ensuring seamless coordination and vibrant energy throughout the evening. The program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Aarohi Negi, expressing gratitude to all guests, doctors, survivors, and volunteers for their continued support.
